CONFIGURE YOUR SOLAR ECLIPSE SYSTEM

Solar Eclipse is a modular system that allow you to realize your storage project as you like. It’s good for new installations but is also great as a retrofit with no modification to the plant, nor the substitution or the installation of a new inverter. You can use it for installations with singlephase or threephase grid connection. With Solar Eclipse every configuration is possible!

To determine the ideal configuration of your Solar Eclipse system, just answer a simple question: “How many panel strings do you own ?

  • 1 STRING

It’s the simplest case. Just disconnect the string from your inverter, connect it to Solar Eclipse and connect this to your inverter and battery pack, as shown here:

Solar Eclipse - Config 1

Config 1 – Single string installation

For this configuration, you can use both Solar Eclipse light   to have a storage capacity of up to 7.2 kWh or the classic Solar Eclipse for a storage capacity of up to 14.4 kWh.

  • 2 OR MORE STRINGS

If your system has 2 or more photovoltaic strings, you can take more solutions. If you need a maximum storage capacity of 14.4 kWh, simply connect one string to Solar Eclipse and leave the other connected to your inverter (on another MPPT obviously) or other inverters on your system, as shown in Configuration 2.

Config 2 - Impianto con più stringhe e 1 Solar Eclipse

Config 2 – Multiple Strings and 1 Solar Eclipse

However, if you need more storage capacity, you can install more Solar Eclipse on the same system by connecting a single string of photovoltaic modules to each of them, as shown in Configuration 3.

Config 3 - Impianto con più stringhe e più Solar Eclipse

Config 3 – Multiple Strings and Solar Eclipse

The maximum storage capacity will be equal to:

Light model : 7.2 kWh X number of Solar Eclipse installed

Standard model : 14,4 kWh X number of Solar Eclipse installed

To determine the ideal configuration of your Solar Eclipse system, just answer a simple question: “How many panel strings do you own ?

  • 1 STRING

It’s the simplest case. Just disconnect the string from your inverter, connect it to Solar Eclipse and connect this to your inverter and battery pack, as shown here:

Config 1 - Impianto con 1 sola stringa di moduli

Config 1 – Single string installation

For this configuration you can use the Solar Eclipse with threephase power meter  to have a storage capacity of up to 14.4 kWh.

  • 2 OR MORE STRINGS

If your system has 2 or more photovoltaic strings, you can take more solutions. If you need a maximum storage capacity of 14.4 kWh, simply connect one string to Solar Eclipse and leave the other connected to your inverter (on another MPPT obviously) or other inverters on your system, as shown in Configuration 5.

Config 5 - Impianto con più stringhe e 1 Solar Eclipse

Config 5 – Multiple Strings and 1 Solar Eclipse

If you need more storage capacity, you can install more Solar Eclipse on the same system by connecting to each one a single string of photovoltaic modules as shown in configuration 6.

Config 6 - Impianto con più stringhe e più Solar Eclipse

Config 6 – Multiple Strings and Solar Eclipse

The maximum storage capacity will be equal to:

14.4 kWh X number of Solar Eclipse installed

  • IF YOU HAVE 3 MONOPHASE INVERTERS

For installations with threephase grid connection and 3 inverters singlephase, you can use 3 Solar Eclipse singlephase , both standard model  and light . In this case, you can connect all Solar Eclipse to a single threephase power meter. Below you can see a configuration example:

Config 4 - Impianto trifase con più Solar Eclipse monofase

Config 4 – Threephase grid connection with 3 Solar Eclipse singlephase
